Before I show you the axle stall, I want to basically show you the mechanics of how it actually works. You are going to be coming up the ramp basically, with enough speed to reach the lip. Axle stall: An axle stall is a stall on both trucks of a skateboard. It is used commonly to regain composure before performing another trick or to "drop in" on a ramp.
The backside fifty fifty is a super fun coping trick on a skateboard. Once you have backside axle stalls dialed, the 50-50 is just a faster, more commited version of that trick.

An Axle Stall is one of the more basic skateboard stall tricks. It is done by rolling up the transition, kickturning 90 degrees, and locking in both trucks on the coping. The grind is basically very similar to the axle I showed you at the stall, only now you are going to be moving a little bit a and it's going to slide you right across this coping here. A skateboarding trick where you go up to the coping on minipipe, turn 90 degrees, and lean back on your heels, therefore ending up with both trucks on the coping, and being stationary. To get out, lift up your front truck, lean forward, and pivot back 90 degrees, and come back down in the stance you came in.
